What is a grab bag server?
A grab bag server means we will guarantee that the server has a specific amount of cores but we do not guarantee a specific processor model or speed. For example if you order a quad-core grab bag you may receive a quad core phenom or you may receive a dual processor dual-core opteron. In this example both the servers contain 4 total cores. The advantage is that these prices are lower than what we would normally sell for that specification.

If you want any custom operating system or partition setup not included on the checkout form simply submit a ticket after your order and we can set it up how you need it free of charge.

We actually have some of these we ordered with extra ram. We could do this for $5 /month. I will even do the first month free on the ram! Just put “WHT16GB” in the Custom Configuration order field.

Can you load RHEL6 and I provide my own two Processor license? I have one I’m not using and might as well change that.

I also have an ESXI Enterprise plus license I’m not using. Is that possible as well?

We connect directly with Hurricane Electric, Cogent, and Level 3. We also peer in the local Kansas city peering exchange KCIX. We make sure and always have plenty of overhead bandwidth so any customer can peak at their full port speed at any point in time. We actually just recently more than doubled our bandwidth with our upstream providers and are currently only at about 10% utilization across the multiple links with each provider.

As long as you can give us a download link to an iso we can install whatever operating system you would like.
