Q: You offer both Fully Managed and Unmanaged Servers.. What is the difference?
A: Good question, and actually there is a pretty big difference between the two product offerings. Looking at the Fully Managed package, we actually fully configure the server initially with a Control Panel and all of the latest security patches. Additionally, we install a Firewall and configure it, as well as set everything up so that all of your websites are backed up daily to our off-site backup cluster. Next, we do all of the fun stuff, we configure the entire server to operate just as awesome as our Managed Hosting servers are so that your websites run the fastest they possibly can. Guess what, we’ll even move your websites from your current provider over to your brand new Managed Dedicated server. If anything happens to your server, something breaks or you need something installed/configured, we’re going to do it for you. Even better, we’ll even fix your code on your website for you if you ask us too! Pretty awesome right? Unfortunately, when you purchase an Unmanaged Server with Elixant Technology, you don’t get any of these added benefits. We recommend that you only order one of our Unmanaged servers if you can do all of this stuff for yourself.
Q: What Payment Methods do you accept?
A: Currently we accept one of the widely-used payment methods on the internet, Paypal! Through Paypal we are able to accept many different kinds of Credit Cards. Upon request, and if you are located within Canada, you can actually pay using Interac eMail Money Transfer or even by direct Bank Transfer. Q: How do you offer support?
A: Now that’s a good question! We currently offer support via Livechat, Email and Support Ticket through our Customer Portal. At this time we don’t have enough of a demand for Toll-Free support, however, once the demand is there, we will implement the systems necessary to offer this method of communication.
