Phoenix compares favorably to locations such as Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle, Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta because of of its lack of natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, etc. With stable weather and dry air, cooling a Phoenix datacenter is very easy and predictable.
Contrary to popular belief, it can actually be easier to cool servers in a dry hot environment than in a cold wet environment, because you can take advantage of evaporative cooling and you don’t have to worry about compressors freezing up and failing from high humidity. These advantages help offset some of the disadvantages of operating in a higher temperature than you would find in datacenters located in New York City, Chicago, or Ashurn Virginia.

Our network uses a mix of Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade switches and routers to offer the best performance and reliability.

What about the IOFLOOD network?
All IOFLOOD servers are connected by default at 1gbps to our redundant network. With multiple upstream providers connected at 10gbps using BGP for routing redundancy and performance, you can be assured of high performance reliable network access. Our current providers include:
